Grandpas Teaching Lessons | Well when I was 16, my Grandpa told me when I was big enough to start the old JD A I could keep it at my house. well I tried but I had it pop on me and almost rip my arm off. From then on my Grandpa told me to pull and as soon as the wheel took to a full spin to get back and wait for it to stop spinning if not started and then go at her again. After I figured out how to spin her right then I havent had a problem starting the old girl anymore. I sure do love my Grandpa and the 1937 JD A that he has givin me so that I can enjoy her the same way he has over the many years of owning her. also my dads gave me a 1936 Case CC which uses a crack which can snap your arm in a blink of a eye. I learned a lot from my Grandpa and my father and dont plan to let it go to waste so I plan to pass it on to my children some day. hope you enjoyed the story and God bless.
