My Own Farmall Stories | I am 15 yrs old. My Dad owns 3 Oliver tractors and 9 Farmall/IH tractors. I bought a complete Farmall MD for 250 dollars with a bad injection pump and set up engine. Then I bought a John Deere A which I partially restored and now have for sale. I am hoping to get enough money out of my J. D. to completely redo my MD. I enjoy working on my Dad's tractors keeping them in top shape and helping him out on the farm, sometimes working 12 hours in the fields with my Dad's 1066. One day I got it stuck up past it's axles. It took a Farmall M, an International 674 and a lot of jerking to get it out of those ruts. Another time we tried to pull a 4. 5 ton wagon of fertilizer through our field with our 674 but it got stuck so we hitched our 1066 and Oliver 77 to that 674 and finished spreading fertilizer in that field. All 3 of those tractors chained to the fertilizer spreader were spinning, but we got the job done. Ross Boots, MI, entered 2000-10-24 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
