Just bought a 560d and it won't roll start? Kill shut off was cut before I purchased. Whitch was Is on and off on injection pump?

Thanks one of my problems might be my oil bath on the starting problem? I also noticed a fuel leak around injection pump screw is that bad?

So.....it won't over or it rolls and won't start????

Has it been running or did you buy a dead tractor?

i bought it knowing it was ran a month before pull started but when I got it home I found out I also need a new starter Can I crack the injectors and see if it's getting fuel? The fuel shut of was also unhooked bc of previous owner that roll started it and the cable was froze so he cut it to shut off

(quoted from post at 14:18:20 03/18/16) it puffs a little smoke I Hurd some people have had to roll start em over1/2 mile

They should start right up without pulling them. You need some manuals and do some proper troubleshooting.

I tried roll starting it in 5 and no luck also holding glow plugs oil looks good and everything. I am in the process of cleaning my oil bath

So it is a fence row tractor.......

Obviously has been setting for quite a while.

(quoted from post at 14:39:14 03/18/16) It was on action I really don't k previous all fluids looked great

Stop cable rusted up, junk starter & intake bowl full of water are not normal on a running tractor.

Kind of tells the history.

I am guessing the glow plugs do not work either.

If the glow plugs show
they are working on the
indicator and drawing
enough amps to be sure
they are ALL working,
and the shut off lever
on the injection pump is
pushed towards the front
of the injection pump
(run position) and you
are pulling it, it
should start. You could
crack a couple injector
lines to be sure fuel is
getting up to the
injection pump. If you
do have fuel to the
pump, but no farther
when the shut off lever
is in run position
(forward), then you most
likely have a stuck
delivery valve or
plunger inside your
injection pump. Might
not be too far out of
line, if there was water
in the air cleaner oil
cup, was there water in
the fuel
rusting/sticking things
up? As stated, If you
have fuel to the
injectors, the glow
plugs are all working,
it SHOULD start if
you're pulling it or
using a the starter. You
can check the glow plugs
with a meter, if they
are open, they are junk.
Make sure they all have
12 volts to them. Don't
use the glow plugs while
having it hooked up to a
vehicle with jumper
cables, they seem to be
pretty sensitive to
voltage and burning out,
and are not cheap.

if the oil cup is full of water and frozen, that will prevent it from starting. i have seen that happen before. even if glow plugs are not working it will smoke when being pulled. pull it 1/2 a mile and it will start. i am saying nothing about starting fluid!

Well, if the fuel
smells/looks old, drain
it. IF it has water in
it, it should be in the
glass water trap under
the tank. But, when they
set, condensation can
sometimes work its way
into the pump, and
obviously you can't see
it in there very easily.

get some clean fuel in it change the oil in the breather change engine oil get some one to drag ya down the road in about fourth gear if its any start to it, it will start aint no need to burn a starter up trying to start it for the first time you pull it long enough it will bleed the injectors on its own

No, water will settle to
the bottom. There will
be a very clear
difference between water
and fuel. Put some water
in a clear cup and dump
some fuel in it, you'll
see the difference.
