Yes a 1927 MD 10-20 mine started leaking bad around the housing where the drain plug screws in, Mu son said we could weld it.

ooh yes that can be repaired with a qualified welder. even if you have to cut all that out and use another drain plug with a new patch.

remove it , then can see exactly whats going on and can drip test it also .
