John Deere 2010

I have a John Deere 2010 bone stock I beat farmall M's and John deere's in antique classes think about get a hot coil have tuned carb and put on air filter. Any Ideas to keep it stock but make it go down the track good at the same time.

I want to keep it as a farm tractor also we use it to mow and plow. Im looking into hot coils but don't know what kind is the best. I am gonna put turbo blue in it for pulling will that make a difference.

A factory coil in good working condition will show zero difference on the dyno .
Once the spark jumps and the air/fuel mixture is ignited . It doesn't matter .Ignited is ignited.

I haven't checked but thought sleeve decks were the same.
Can you even get them anymore?

Per your 4010 handle, I guess you have a backup tractor to do the mowing in case the 2010 goes to pot. Otherwise you might want to get all your spring mowing done before you make changes to the engine. If
anything goes wrong it is (as already said) $$$ to replace on that 165 engine, if you can even find the parts.
