what was the name of the company that offered the rops for all the older tractors, i thought it was like beefco but couldnt find a site for there rops, i tried new holland but they said it wasnt available, i need the style that comes up behind the fuel tank like in the picture, thats not my tractor just one from the photo album of this site, i need that style because my tractor has a cab so i belive that style would clear the cab without a problem, i dont know if that is the original NH style or not

The rops in this pic is not oem it is close. The oem cabs were not rops, I think they were supplied by Hanson but it has been a long time since I have been in one.

Mark, I have been following the quest for a ROPS for your 8000. It seems you want to keep your Year Around cab, is that correct? I was always under the impression that Hiniker and YAR cabs were ROPS certified. Maybe someone can verify that. My 1977 I&T RED Book has a Hiniker ad that mentions ROPS cabs, but no YAR ad.

nope the early ones wernt, i think the later ones were tho, but the early ones are often refered to as prepackaged coffins since they are just sheetmetal and light angle iron, they would crumple in a rollover for sure
