Hello, I wanted to ask as to whether it is more relable to keep the magneto on my H or switch it over to a distributor. Right now the recently overhauled H runs well with its Mag until it gets pretty warm and then it will start to miss, slowly at first and then to the point where it will barely run. It only does this when under constant load in hot whether such as raking hay. I think the coil on the mag may be weak. I can get a new one for $50. The tractor originally had no electricity on it but I put on a 12 volt system so it could power a distributor if needed. I would like to keep her as original as possible but I want her to be usable on our farm as well. Any thoughts on this ? Thanks for your help. YC
