K&N makes their claim to fame by stating that their filters give good airflow. I won't dispute this - but it is at an additional cost. IMHO, these types of filters just don't do as well with what they are designed to do - filter air! If you only intend to run your tractor in parades, the K&N might work fine. Personally, I'd never use a pleated paper or cotton mesh filter of this sort if my tractor was out in the field under the usual dusty conditions. Nothing beats a good oil bath air cleaner. Harder to maintain, but effective!
