While scratching through 2 week old transplanted tobacco last evening with my Dad's Super A, I noticed a small spot where it looked like crows had tried to pull up the plants. The soil around the stems was dug out and it looked similar to the way a corn patch looks when crows decide to pay a visit. I had this problem several years ago on the same farm. After about 2 weeks and probably a couple hundred plants they gave up. Maybe they need to see the surgeon general's report on tobacco use. I was just wondering what some of you do to discourage crows from your gardens or crops other than a 12 gauge.
