I have repaired some of the 1 wire switches by gently & slowly prying open the crimp on the back of the switch so the back can be removed. Usually they are very dirty and a good cleaning and some grease are all you need to get the switch working again. There is a small ball bearing and spring inside so be careful on disassembly. Carefully re-crimp the casing; use a bit of J-B Weld if you break off a piece.
