just read a few of the older posts about rough yr. Family having a tough time this year. Oct mom in law fell and broke the leg bone 4 inches below the hip. Local dr put in a rod and some screws and put her to physical therepy. Wasnt progressing like she should after 6 weeks. Took exrays found the rod had come through the leg and was crushing into the hip. Took her to Lansing, dr put in whole new hip and repaired damage. She then come down with artearial bloodclots they had to go in and smash. Now its time to get her back local so we can rehab her again. Wife has been battling pancreatitus since before we married 10 yrs ago. 5yrs ago they found tumors wrapped around the neck of the pancreas. the last few months she has been in alot of pain and in and out of hospital. They finally referred her to the dr we see in Ann Arbour. Went last monday. Wife is officially a cancer patient. Dr says it isnt the patrick swayze cancer it is all capsulated in the tumor. To get the tumor they have to take the pancreas out. This is still under advisement as we get another opinion. To add some excitement I was having funny vision. Went to dr. Had to have cataracts taken off both eyes. All is going well now. Sure looked like I was going to sell tractors to pay bills for a little while. (now its tractor oriented.)
