I guess for every inferiority complex there is one of us that has been given the "big head". I'm the kind of guy that everyone calls when they have a problem, and 99.9999% of the time I can take care of whatever the problem is.
Awhile back some friends of ours had gone out to eat with us and were riding in the back seat of our Suburban. I don't remember the exact topic of the conversation, but the wife said something to the effect of, 'Yes, I wish he could do all that stuff, but he'll never be as good as you Wayne'...emphasis on the 'he'll never be as good as you' part. She realized about the time she said it that the comment didn't come out like she meant it to and started sputtering trying to back up and explain. Unfortunately the 'damage' was already done and we were all laughing....especially after I reached around the seat and patted him on the knee and said, 'Yep, remember that'...... That was about a year ago, and we still give her heck about the comment every time we get a chance....LOL
