Hi, please help before I choke my husbands lights out, I can't handle him yelling at me just because he can't fix the tractor. sound familiar guys ^--^. Problem, timing gear broke on 1950'ish 8N. #1 piston is top dead center. Fly wheel timing mark is set on zero. Installed new timing gear with #1 TDC and mark on fly wheel at zero. The crank shaft gear timing mark DOES NOT align itself with cam timing gear mark. Cam shaft gear is approx. at 2 o'clock. Please answer right away, please be someone that can help get this tractor running and bring peace back to our home.!!!!!!!!
