Case #1 I'm trying to figure out the approximent age of a "highly experienced" 953 wagon running gear from one of it's tires. Figuring from the parts manual it has to range from 1940 to 1954. The serial number tag has been missing for some time. The one remaining stock sized tire still holds air but that's about it. It's a Goodyear Rib Tread Implement I-1 sized 6:00-16 six ply with the diamond sidewall. It's coded with the numbers C17521-5 and a 3T inside a diamond shaped box. Case #2 A set of Firestone Champion Ground Grip 10-34 4 ply made in Canada. Patent test Tread 1955. One tire is marked with AD-9555-7 and 1-IL . The other is AD-9555-4 and 3-IL . Any ideas on their vintage or any particulars. They are old, very hard and have full tread except for being sharpened by road wear. They must have spent 99% of their time indoors. Should work good for pulling on loose tracks.
