My wife has been smitten by IH fever. I ran across an antique International Harvester Metro Van that had been sitting stored in the desert and she had to have it. Now I have the painful task of traveling half-way across the country through New Mexico and Arizona in the springtime to bring it home. The painful part is there will be no room on the trailer for a tractor. I sat back and watched a 1968 Allis Chalmers 170 high crop with perfect sheet metal sell for less than $1200 because I had no room left and would not be able to make another trip before June. It would have been nice to have His&Her's projects. The look I received when she thought I would pick the tractor and dropkick her van would have reversed global warming. I guess Mama needs a new toy now and then. It will look right at home sitting next to the pair of letter series Farmalls at the house.
