I'm trying to get my MF-35 back on its wheels again and I'm trying to decide which my tires would be best to put on. I've got a mismatched set of 12.4x28 with some weather checking and about 40% tread, one has a cut (patched on the inside) between the treads. I also have a set of matched 11.2x28 with quite a bit of weather checking and at least 80% tread, one of which has a 3" cut in the side wall. The local tire shop may be able to patch it. I'm wondering what effects the location of the cut might have on the longevity of the repair? In a year or two I hope to replace with new but I'm at college and I'm just trying to come up with something decently usable for the time being. I just don't want to pay for a repair to the 11.2 if a sidewall patch doesn't stand a chance. Many thanks, tractorsam
