In western ND I had 160 acres that had to come out of CRP. I have no tillage implements sized for my 4X4 Versitle, only an air seeder. I do still have all my grandpas 14 foot stuff he used in the 1960's. Cows were on it last fall so not to mutch trash on the surface. In train I hooked a chisel plow with twisted spikes , a disc and finally a field cultivator. It left a great seed bed. I got about 1/2 done before I had to leave. This spring I never got around to breaking the remainder. I just sprayed and planted. I had fewer weeds and a better crop in the stuff I didn't break.
