I'm 80 miles west of Wichita Falls, Tx. My diesel is running, I know where there is a lpg rowcrop with a froze engine. I am wondering if I can just swap out engines.Does the rowcrop hace a smaller bell housing than the wheatland?

I might consider selling or trading the wheatland.

Think the bell housings are the same, not positive tho, wished you was a little closer to SD I would find something to trade you for the 400 standard, hate to see a standard engine go to fix a row crop unless the rest of the 400 was in tough shape. Only problem I see with the swap would be if it's a 400 super and a 400B series.

Yes its a pretty good distance from here to SD,

I spent my summer vacations during the early 60s
working for a man who lived in Canistota, SD following the wheat harvest from here in Tx all the way into Canada. Then after I got out of high school, I worked for a veterian, taking of his cattle around the Montrose area, but one winter was all that I wanted was back in Tx before the next frost hit.

The wheatland is in pretty good shape, I just need something that i can use with a brush hog and blade. The engine was overhauled at a case dealer in 1976, and sold to a farmer who farme 160 acres it
for about 3 years then parked it in a barn where it has been the last 20 years. Still have some tinkering to do to it. Gve a whole $300 for it.

Got to go thankd for te imform.

Donald
