Hi,

Any Case 1194 owners out there, or others who have operated this tractor, with good or bad experiences with this model? I understand that it is basically a David Brown 880. I'm looking for a medium duty, slow speed tractor for my fresh market produce farm. I'm considering buying one and would appreciate any comments on durability, quality, availablility/price of parts, and any operating quirks I should know about.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

It's mechanically almost an 885, good tough little tractors. I've had both and I did prefer the 885, seems like some of the sheetmetal work and modifications on the 90 and 94 series Case/DB's (up through 1490/1494) were a little bit Mickey Mouse.

I never really did like the sheet metal on the 90 & 94 series. The early DB's where the hood completely came off made the tractor so easy to work on.

It is basically a decendant of the 880. Decent little tractor. Right application for what your looking for.
