I have had my 2470 for a number of years, and am now thinkin about adding a 2670 to the bunch. What are some of the differences between the two? Is a 2670 as good a trctor as the 2470?, or is a 2670 just a 2470 w/ an intercooler? Also my 2470 is a '73 and the 2670 is a '78, if that makes a difference in the tractors? Thanks for any input, I will probably go get the tractor this weekend.-Wide Open

Hey Wide Open: You got it! A 2670 is nothing more than a 2470 with an intercooler. Fuel rack is opened more. But so what, it's got more power. Still a good tractor.

Hate to dissagree with you but, there are mor differences than that in the 24 and 26. The 2670 has bigger planatarys, Different injectors, More clutch disk in the PS. Larger differentials. That is all I can think of off hand
