Were any 560's built without TA? Saw one at a local dealer that did not have one and looked to have never had one.

I'm pretty sure that Y at the end of the serial # means Hydra-Touch with the 12 GPM pump and S means it came with TA

Yes I believe the TA was an option on the 560. My neighbor has an LP 560 and that does not have a TA either. It does have the LPTO.

Through the 60's and I think part of the 70's the TA was considered an option. I have also seen Farmalls and IH's without the TA. Very few though. Perhaps a rarer find in the IH books, but no way to prove it because I don't think they kept records of numbers with or without the TA.
