The tractor looks nice!

I have never seen a coil like this one...I guess I have been living a sheltered life. And, the shutter leaver, is it missing or did you decide not to install it?

Tom, that is the origional coil. It still fires good but I don't think I would start out on a road trip without taking a spare. I have the shutter bellcrank, but no shutter on this tractor so I didn't install the bellcrank. ken

Tom;

That weird coil was used on all sorts of IH engines. I've often wondered... did IH make it "in-house"?

My 51 super C has a coil like that. As far as I know it is still original. Fires up good even when it is cold. (-25)( 6 volts.)
