CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE THE CONDENSER WIRE HOOKS UP TO ? DOES IT HOOK UP TO WHERE THE POINTS
WHERE THE COIL HOOKS UP OR TO THE ADJUSTABLE PART OF THE POINTS. ALSO ON THE COIL DOES THE WIRE FROM THE DISTRIBUTER GO TO THE POSITIVE OR THE NEGATIVE ON THE COIL ? PLEASE HELP!!!

Both the condensor and distributor wires connect to the terminal provided on the fixed (non-moving) portion of the ignition points.

Which coil terminal the wire from the distributor to the coil goes depends on ground polarity of your tractor. If it's positive ground the wire should connect to the coil + terminal. If the tractor is negative ground then the wire goes to the - terminal. However as a practical matter the tractor will run fine and the ignition parts will last as long no matter which way it's hooked up....

On page 39 of my C operators manual is a picture that very clearly shows the condenser and distributer wires attached to the SPRING or breaker arm (moving) side of the points. Same picture is on P 40 of my H manual, and page 40 of my M manual, etc. First mistake I've ever seen you make.

Thanks for a good catch - you are absolutely correct! Went from from memory on that one and I guess just remembered it wrong...

The condensor hooks to the same terminal as the spring on the points. Distributer wire goes to the + side of the coil. The switch cable goes to the - side.
