Farmall 400 stuck in gear update

I was able to get the three rails to line up but all three are still forward of what I believe is the neutral position. Is it possible to be stuck in 3 gears at the same time? Moving the rails takes tremendous effort, even after lifting one wheel off the ground (the tractor is setting pretty level). I cannot seem to get good advantage to pry. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Has started raining here (again!!) so the field has turned to muck. Will now need to wait until everything dries out.

My 560 has the same problem (I've always been able to get it loose). One thing I've done is to raise the front end off the ground with the loader. Many times, this relieves the "bind" on the gears. The 3 slots should line up, almost directly beneath the access hole (shifter hole). If they're ahead of that position, they're probably still all in gear, and thus the difficulty in moving them.

I would say the TA clutch has not released hold the TA lever back or shorten the link and block the main clutch out until you get it in neutral and then adjust linkage right.

Scott: Are you saying you went through all of the procedure you described earlier and never tried the TA lever? You're not easy to help.
