My International 600D has a sticky clutch. When you push the pedal, it doesn't release right away. If you apply the brakes it will release. It will eventually release on its own if you have room to wait. Why is this happening? Will a couple of shots of grease to the release bearing help? Will an adjustment to the clutch linkage help??

Okay. I completely serviced the tractor including greasing the release bearing and pilot bearing. I adjusted the clutch as it was at it minimum spec. (4 3/4") from the platform. Anyway, it was still a little sticky, but I used it on a hayride last night and probably drove it 40 miles altogether with two wagons attached. The more I used the clutch the better it got. It's almost to the point now where it doesn't stick at all. I thought I may have to tear it apart and replace the splined shaft but now I think it's going to be OK.

Richard, if you have an owners manual follow the clutch adjusting procedure outlined in it. It sounds like the clutch disk is sticking on the splines of the input shaft causing it to bind tight against the flywheel. Greasing the release bearibg won't hurt but likely won't help either.
