Out in Arizona the past weekend, I saw TWO Farmall H's mounted on concrete and enclosed by fence as exhibits of antique farm equipment. Two different cities. Sheesh!

If they wanted to waste a tractor, I wish they would have selected a Deere.

I wasn't at all offended by this display... in fact, I think it is an outstanding way to show off a tractor.

I'm sure it is lightened up as much as possible.

George: I like your photo. I have been acululating some bits and pieces and plan to do one similar except I am going to put it on a turntable and make a weather vane. I think a fin on the back, painted as a cart will do the job.

Just a suggestion, being as were discussing fences around tractors. SAm now has the Super A stored at the Heritage Farm in Cole Harbour, all those children visiting the farm will probably enjoy setting on SAm's tractor, might scratch that nice paint job. The fence would prevent any scratches. Cheers, Murray

Murray: When My wife and I operated a roadside vegetable market, the Super A had often been left adjacent to the market. It served a very useful function in that mothers could put kids in the seat of the Super A and there was none of this momy when are we going. A few times the lights got turned on, so we removed the fuse. Lo and behold one day an industrious little guy started it. Probably on top of the silo would prevent this. When I had my tower silo built, I purposely had them leave the ladder 8' from ground. A young kid asked one day if I had a stepladder. When his mother asked what he wanted the ladder for, he declared,"top of the silo would be good spot to see the countryside."
