There has been some chat re painting. My plan for the AV is to paint by hand all of the cast chassis then have the panel work and all those eyecatching flat surfaces spray painted professionally.
Would appreciate any tips or advise. Plan to start early in the morning when it is calm and hot (Summer here)

Tractor needs to be ready by the end of the month for our show so have to leave it a week for it to go off before i put it back together again..

I would think an AV would be worth a good spray job. It doesn't have to be an outlandishly expensive pro job. Do you know anyone with equipment that could do it? Or maybe you could buy or rent the equipment to do it yourself?
You'd be money ahead over a pro spray job and it will look fine. If you've got a lot of work in it and all cleaned up why would you butcher it with a brush job? Other opinions may vary.

I disagree with the comments below, the cast iron parts of your tractor will look very good painted with a brush. Use a very good brush, and put the paint on thick and wet, if you are using a quality paint, such as Case-IH 2150, the paint will flow out and completely eliminate any brush marks. Any one who thinks otherwise has never tried it.

I'm with you Rusty. I used a paint brush on the cast parts of my F-12 and was very pleased with the results. While I am not the worlds greatest painter I have made fair progress. The cast parts matched perfectly with the sheet metal and other parts that could not be brushed. It may not be showroom quality but I'd say that it is a better restoration than 3/4s of serious restorations I've seen.

Any paint is better than none, but the brush job will not be as nice closer than 10 feet.

I've painted several tractors over the years, the only way to do it right is to spray everything. This is especially true if you are using a hardner on the flat surfaces you plan to have professionally painted, the rest will not match. After a few years the difference will REALLY show.
