Does anyone reproduce All-Fuel manifolds

The manifold on my super H has several cracks, and also has a fairly large hole in the heat exchanger portion of the manifold. Does anyone reproduce the manifolds? My tractor is very original, and I would like to keep it that way with the one piece manifold if so possible. If no manifolds are available will my carb work on a cold air manifold? Will anything else have to be changed if switched to a cold air? Thanks so much for any comments you have!!

I have a 54 Super H distillate burner. It's all there, shutters, small tank, heat shield but the manifold had a crack. It is in the back so I had it welded. Forget about finding a reproduction or even a good used one. I've been looking for two years. Trouble is they did not make many dual fuel SH's. The distillate carb will run fine on gas. The only difference from the gas version is the petcock for bowl drain and the main seat has a larger bore for the heavier fuel. You just have to close it a bit to run gas.

How much would a cold air mainfold run me? Is it still one piece with the exhaust, or are they two separate manifolds on the gasoline tractors?

Yes, it is a combination manifold. I have seen them sell for $135 in ads and catalogs. I haven't been in the market to buy lately so I didn't search out the best price.

Do a search on eBay. I'll bet you could get a new one for less than $100.

I have a '40 H with a new manifold. Runs good. If you braze a stud or bolt in the right location, you can fit the tin heat shield. Nobody will ever know that you are not running the dual fuel manifold.

wardner, The real adventure is finding a heat shield. I've been looking for one for my 40 A to no avail. If I ever do find one, I plan to do as you suggest and braze a stud to the regular manifold, since I dont intend on burning Kerosene as it was originally designed for. I'm sure it wouldn't please the hard core purists, but then I'm not out to please the hard core purests in the first place.

There are two beautiful heat shields on eBay right now. However, one is for a H and the other is for a M. Email this guy. He might have others.

I have to believe that OEM or someone else will reproduce heat shields in the future.

Wardner, I check E-Bay every day hoping to find a shield for my A. Havent seen one yet, but keep hoping that one day I will. I did ask the folks at O.E.M., and also Steel wheel ranch and neither of those people have one. I'm sure the last one on earth has not disappeared, I just havent found one yet. I find that that is one of the most exciting things about old tractor restoration, that being networking and scrounging for parts. When I do score on a rare part, I'm like a kid at Christmas. It is also frustrating at times.

I have a 1940 H with the original distillate carburetor bolted to a newer cold air manifold, it works great, you'd never know it didn't come from the factory with that combination.

I have a Farmall M &it is a distillate tractor. However, I am looking for a Distillate manifold for it & cannot find one. Secondly, could I change it over to a straight gas & regular manifold. If so how do I go about doing that. Somebody please help me.

I don't know if there are repro's for the distillate/kerosene manifolds or not, there are several sources for the gas ones. I imagine that Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch will have a good used Kero/dist one -- 785-548-7437. Your carb will bolt on either, probably with no effect on performance.
