Nebraska Cowman, need a disk for a Super A

Just got a Super A from an estate. No manuals. When we picked it up, someone had made off with the disk. The plows are on the tractor and it has a chewed up 6' sickle bar mower, but I really need that disk.

I have looked high and low for one, but all I find is some old nasty rusted out, bearings all wobbled out, disk missing piece of junk. OR a three point, which the SA can't handle because it doesn't have a three point.

I think that the SA should handle a 5 footer, maybe a six, but I don't know fer sure.

Any help out there?

One of the pluses in doing this you get much heavier disk that cuts well. For Super A use it would last a lifetime. For a Super A, I would go with 20 plate disk. If I were building a disk for a Super A with plow lift, I would build it so it hitches same as plow and use chains to the plow lift for raising. Much better for moving. Just some thoughts.

I really would like a lift type, since I am going to be using it working other folks gardens nearby. Just lift and go next door or down the road. It would probably be easier to get around in the small spaces without knocking down a fence or two.

I like the idea of cutting down a bigger one. I'm not much of a welder, but I've got 3 neighbors who make their living doing that, any one of which would trade the work for a tilled garden.

Mostly I'll be working good ol' Texas gumbo black dirt or the wife's sand arena. She and her gal pals like to ride horses around 55 gallon drums real fast. It's like a sport or something....

Still the added weight would be a help.
