I'm not sure which 6 cyl. engine it has. The engine and casting numbers etc. are covered with a thick coat of grease. If I knew where to look on the engine I could clean up that area. (I got this "as is, WHERE is, which is several miles from civilization. Can't pressure wash it right now. Doing everything with a portable generator, etc.) I'm going back up there Monday and I'll get the machine serial numbers and maybe could track it that way. The engine does have glow plugs (how long should I hold that button down? The gauge says RUN immediately - Which may be good advice if I use too much ether, right?) It's a Bosch injector pump. If I knew what a cold start setting lever (or switch, etc.) looked like, I'd search for one. I don;t think it's gear drive. There's no clutch, just two brakes and a throttle pedal. Nothing within many miles to tow it with, plus the bucket and backhoe outriggers are all down on the ground. I will difinately loosen the lines to the injectors on Monday and ,make sure I got fuel to each cylinder. Thanks for the help! Trucking is a lot cheaper and easier If I can get it started to run it up on the trailer.
