I will send you a photo of my plow from an earlier post. I will have to wait for one of the kids to take a picture and do the sending. I don't think the plow is a shortened 550. Ihad one of those and don't remember it having the beam running diagonally across the top of it. I have the wheels set in on my 460 now, the first bottom follows directly in the furrow. I hooked it to my row crop 656 and it looked just right. I will measure the center to center of the tires on both tractors when I send the photo. Do I snd the e-mail to the moderator to get it to you. Thanks for your trouble, retired

retired: In the parts book I have 535, 540, 550 and 560 all show the diagnol box beam across the top. You do have a point though as I remember a neighbor having a 540 without the diagnol box beam. My own plow was a 510, they were a newer version and frame was somewhat different. To look at the 535, 540, 550 and 560 in parts book they all look very much alike with bottoms added or deleted at front.

Send the e mail direct to me, just click n my name in post and my e mail will come up.

I'm just trying to think how I could send you copies of parts book page. Like you I rely on a daughter to do these scanning jobs. My daughter and husband are away on a 3 week holliday, thus I am more or less grounded when it comes to new items on file.
