posted a question a couple times about not being able to stop the pto from turning.I removed the whole pto assy. from the tractor and disassembled found the bands inside to be in good condition but after reassembly and ajustmet I still could not get the darn thing to stop. after several calls to local and out of state dealers no one could give me an answer. so I remove the small cylinder on the side of the pto and took it apart cleaned and oiled then reassembled .. now the pto works properly...hope this litte info works for someone else with the same problem .. Thanks, been having a similar problem with mine and thought it might be worn locators for the two lock positions, but now I've got something simpler to try first.
