one of my super c's has what appears to be a replacement ihc engine, maybe from a combine? as close as i can read it, the raised plate behind the mag says IMAM on the top left, with a G or 6 way on the top right, and 19234 underneath the IMAM. it has a place for a dipstick cast into the block, and no petcocks on the oil pan like a stock super c engine. the mag has ihc on the cap; it is used as a distributor, since it was changed over to a coil ignition before i bought it. the engine runs like a champ. any ideas what model it is?

IH used that C123 and the C113 engine on several IH combines and the model numbers of the combines were 76-6 and 76-7. They used the C60 Cub engine
one of these combines too. They still used the 6
volt system too. I can not help with any of the numbers that you posted. Those combine engines may have had low hours if it wasn't used for custom combining. Does your engine have a water pump? The Super C's and the late model Super A's had pumps. That's probably a good place to get a good replacement engine is off an old combine. Hal

Combine and baler engines all had the notch in the bell housing on the right for the starter. Does this engine have only one bolt on the right side flywheel housing. If so it is a combine or baler or swather engine. otherwise it is probably a replacement block from IH. I suspect the latter as the combine engines were difficult to fit in due to the crank not being bored with a pilot bearing hole
