Guys,

I could have sworn that the "lift" pressure was out the bottom ports on my old 766.

They are reversed on this 966 and the lift is out on the top ports. Am I going completely nuts or somptin'? :>(

Thanks,

Allan

Hey Dave,

Not only were the tractors backwards, I think I might have a little of the same affliction myself. :>)

Now just hold on a minute. I know what is wrong.

You need to come run this silly computer for me and let me stuff your corn in the ground. :>)

Allan: Your memory is not the only one. Since seeing this earlier, been racking my brain on 56 and 66 series tractors. I'll be darned if I can remember.

Allen,

On the 966, when you pull the hydraulic lever for the remote cylinder up and back, the pressure should come out the top port on the coupler. If you push it ahead and down, the pressure comes out the bottom port. I have run one for 30 years, take it for what it’s worth…

If you are really set on having the bottom one be the lifting pressure, I suppose you could swap the lines…

Allan, that reminds me of a story.
A ninety year old gentleman is sitting in a bar enjoying a drink. Looking over, he sees an attractive woman sitting by herself. Very suave and debonair, he swaggers over to her and says "Hello, maam. Do I come here often?"
