Hi guys I am sitting here bored out of my gourd its freaking pouring out here and has been all day
So I am going to try and catch up on my dumber than dumb areas.lol OK I have a stage 1 super M with the belly pump and char Lynn valve mounted on the light bar for two was Hyd. OK This is the question what way do I hook the hoses up? ahead is up? Or push forward as some might say. Or would you bring the valve handle back or down to raise. Or is it just user preference. I always used the stock one on the H that has the same lever as the one that runs the belly pump.
THANKS IN ADVANCE JON

Industry standard is pull back to raise, if your valve has a “float” position where the lever stays in you will want to plumb it so that the “lower” position is on the same side of the neutral position as the float position, so you don’t lower and then have to go through the raise position to float.

Otherwise you could hook it up the other way if your preference is have it that way. The pump and cylinders won’t care…

My 330 and 350 are right, back to raise, My 460 utility is backwards,Because of the valving I can't make it right. I thought switching the hoses would do it, but the oil has to flow IH's way.

Pull back to raise. That is the industry standard.

The U34 loader for the 300/330/350 Utes stated plainly in the operators manual to hook up so lift is forward and drop is back.Bucket up forward, bucket dump backward.
