Hi
I"m considering attemping to rebuild the F-20 clutch. The three pin holes in the clutch housing bracket are worn as are the pins that are inserted into the holes that hold the levers that actuate the clutch plate. I"m looking at several options to repair the worn holes.

1. Weld the holes shut and re-machine the holes back to specs.

2. Machine the holes until they cleanup and then make bushings and press them into the oversize holes to bring them back to specifications.

Just wondering if anyone has had some experience in doing any such work.

Thanks Larry

Sounds like a lot of work and expense for what you will get. I"ll bet there are a number of places, Nebraska Cowman would be a good place to start, who can fix you up with good used parts at less expense then trying to fix what you got.
