I am replacing the Spark Plugs on my recently acquired C. It is a hobby tractor that will receive light use. What are some recommended plugs?

I have never had problems with Champion plugs, or any other brand for that matter, I consider the major brands equal--heat range is more important, for a little used tractor get a heat range equivalent to a Champion D21, in other words hot. With no main jet adjustment, they typically run too rich, unless used a lot.

They originally came with Champion D-16's, but there are many other options out there today. I have had good luck with UD-16's, and I work and pull mine. a D-21 is a hotter plug, I run them in my A, works well in that one. Some say they foul, depends on one's luck. AC Delco has one, C87. They are a little hottor plug and my neighbors run them in their's and say they work good. I am not sure of the Autolite plug number, but the stores can give you that (or someone else here too), I just haven't had much luck with them, but others have. Any of those will work well for light use. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Very controversial subject.Everyone has their favorite brand.I used Champion brand for almost a year in my 300U,but recently had to change them out because they were misfiring.I replaced the plugs that was in it when I bought it with those Champions (it was Champion that he had in it,and one was bad),but I have replaced them with Autolite. They seem to run very smoothly.....for now anyway.I find that Autolites keep firing no matter how carboned up they get.For a while.... lol
