Guys, after 5 years I finally got this posting of photos in the gallery to work. I really had only ever tried couple of times before. Thus new in the tractor photo gallery are my Farmalls Super A, 130 and 140. Maybe someday I'll become a complete man at YT.

Hugh, I"m envious.....Not so much of the tractors, although they look pretty darned good for their age and the work they"ve done, but for the fact that you hve "mastered" the process of submitting the pics on the site. One of these days, I"ll have to post the pics of my stuff. They are both worthy of posting, but I just haven"t gotten around to fiddle with the posting process. BTW, Hugh, I owe ya an E.Mail. I"ll get around to that soon also.

Paul: Been kind of concerned about you folks. Hadn't seen you on forums a lot.

I must admit the posting of photos wasn't very difficult, although Marg. said the upgrades she did probably made it possible. I used to use Netscape to go to YT. I now use Explorer. I really never tried very hard before, was always too anxious to get into discussions. I have now also reached the season where I have more time for YT, and since I don't like cold weather anymore, at 63 it's very easy to stay by fireside. By gosh, maybe I should go into politics.

Hugh,
It's great to see your machines. I understand the sentiment of when you've seen a picture of one of each model, you've seen them all; but for some reason I never get tired of seeing more! Look fwd to seeing more from you in the future (not that I have the time to post many pictures myself, but certainly do enjoy seeing them ;).
My current 'educational' projects are putting a x40 series motor in a super C, and I finally found a 14 bolt head for my next project after that.

Good looking tractors Hugh! I got a little quality time with my 400 and moving snow yesterday. Think I will buy the tractor a block heater for Christmas! Good to see your tractors.

Those are good looking tractors, Hugh. I have many hours in the seat of a Super A. Dad bought it at a farm sale, I think in 1953. I think it was a 1951. The guy that had the sale retired and was going to get rich farming. ( HA HA )

Bob: Ten years ago my aim was to obtain the complete set of offsets A, SA, 100, 130 and 140. I wanted one hi clear in the group. Somehow I got side tracked or lost interest. Then I got an interest in finding an Oliver 77 diesel. Problem is I need a larger shop. No point in hauling them home to sit outside. Sandy is still determined to acquire the rest of the offsets. I've been buying a few 1/16 toys lately. With the room situation as it is I may make the Oliver a toy. One thing about the toys, the grease is clean, no skinned knuckles, etc. I have some nice shelves here in my computer room. I really have seen enough tractor seat hours in my lifetime, plus my real hobby has turned out to be chewing the rag with you guys here at YT. Goals do change.

If memory serves this 46 year-old correctly from a post a year-or-so ago, you ain't but in your early 60's. Not exactly an "old dog" in my book!

Hello Hugh, glad you were able to show the pictures of your tractors, they all look nice. I guess two were orginally from N.S.? Your Super A seat is identical to the Super A (53) that I am presently working on here in Cole Harbour, just upholstered and placed the back on the seat this past friday. On another note a couple of months ago I purchased a plow for the Super C, ($20.00) at an auction, this is one of the single furrow trip plows, they are rather heavy. Have you had any dealings with this type of plow? Lloyd and Melvin with their info have me a little more confused. Cheers, Murray

Rex: My good wife advises me she recently upgraded our computer, probably had a lot to do with this evenings success. YT do warn that older versions of Explorer and Netscape may encounter problems with photo gallery. I must admit I really never tried very hard before, and probably only ever tried maybe twice. It really wasn't much of an issue with me. Once you've seen one example of each model of tractor you've seen them all.
