Back Together

Well, I just had to look. Pulled all the valves and inspected the o-rings and the center section for cracks. Absolutely nothing wrong in there. :>(

So, my little pee-brain tells me that the trouble is either in the control valve or I'm not getting forward charge pump pressure/flow (groan, ya know what that means).

So help me, if this irritant turns out to be a simple little capsule up on top..... ...

Oh well, I know how they are put together now, anyways. :>)

That is my next stop soon as I get all this bottom end throwed back together again. If it wouldn't have been fer the leak of the cooler hoses I would have started up there anyways.

You don't 'spose someone swapped out that 'A' and 'B' to test the system somewhere along the line and then didn't put 'em back in the right holes, do ya?

I always did think that the "de-acceleration" of the old gal was pretty darned aggresive. Every time I pull back the stick just a little and she slides the tires. :>)

I hope it is something inside there...because if it were my luck, I would have looked at everything, spent days on the project.... spent$$ on gaskets... then been sure it was something expensive. I would then take it to a professional like the Tractor Vet, who would drive it, get off replace one spring, gasket, or o-ring etc.... all of which I had looked at days ago and concluded they were fine. He would charge me $.25 for part, $100 for labor, send me on my way and tell me "If you would have brought it to me in the first place, I would have had it going a week ago."

Either that, or above happens, and I break some $250 part that was fine before I started.

I just didn't wanna spent the money on a 10,000 lb hydraulic gauge.

You watch, when the trouble is finally found either by the red shop 'er by me, it is probably gonna end up being some little nickel part up under that silly steering wheel clear out in the wide open. :>)

Oh well, I'm havin' fun learnin' 'bout the old sow anyhoo. :>)
