I ran across these pictures the other day while showing my son photos of my old car. We got this old V8 Binder in about 1983 and I painted it after my brother put rod and main bearings in it. I think these photos were taken by me in 1984. I'm not sure why I chose to paint the white areas silver, but I was a hot-rodder then (and younger). I rode a lot of hours on this screamin bellerin monster and I realize these pictures aren't really newsworthy, but they bring back a few fond memories of the dust, heat and deafining noise ;)

Yes, my brother and I still have it, but it is retired to collecting sparrow poop in the shed now and it is no longer used much. I might get her out some day again, just to hear her roar.

You know, I don"t remeber which size PTO shaft it has. We had it on the DYNO once, but I don"t remeber ever using the PTO for anything else. I"ll look next time I"m around the old girl.

Neat tractor! A lot of people would like to have one- me included! Does it just have the big 1000 PTO (1 3/4" I think) or the small 1000 (1 3/8)?

Dohn't worry about it Sgt K. Those are great pictures of a great history. Glad you still have them. Look like a neat tractor, but are you sure it is an 1868? Looks a lot like a 1468 to me, but then I'm just a smarta$$. :-) Harley
