This is getting bad. Since the first of the year, I"ve received 4 e-mails that are scams. Three of them said an additional e-mail address had been added to my PayPal profile and if that was wrong, I should click on a link to correct it. The other one appeared to be from the E-Bay message center, and a member was supposedly sending me a question. He was asking whether I accepted PayPal, because, "if not, the deal is off." I have never sold anything on E-Bay, I"m just a buyer. I didn"t respond to any of these, but I sent copies to: spoof@paypal.com and spoof@ebay.com . Also, have you noticed all of the obvious scams showing up in E-Bay tractors? They"re selling 1 or 2 year old diesel tractors with loaders and/or back hoes with ridiculously low Buy-It-Now prices. They state, "Don"t use the "send seller a message" feature "cause their mailbox doesn"t work"". They say, "e-mail me at this address to get put on the approved bidders list". Bottom line, Be careful! Rusty is right. Don"t respond to any e-mail--go into your "My E-Bay Account" and check for the message there!
