Filled transmission with ninety weight put new filter and oil in engine filled the radiator with water put two gallons of gas in gas tank opened throttle one third pulled the choke hit starter once it fired but quit hit starter again she purred smoked a little at first but cleared up almost immediately.I thought it would be harder to get started it stared so easy I thought I was dreaming. When my wife heard it through the kitchen window she ran to the back door with her arms in the air jumping up and down didnt take her very long to get to the garage either I think she was almost as excited as I was. Thanks guys for all the help with my questions.Dont worry I will retorque my head bolts a few times tommorrow and set my valves again Thanks for everything I am so excited cant wait to get my sheetmetal done now . P.S. I will have to paint my bush hog now tractor might die of shame from pulling that ugly thing around..... ..River Bottom Farmer

An enthusiasticlly positive wife is a very good thing, Mine took twenty minutes to stop laughing when she drove the SH with the two row cultivators on it. Great job,

Be sure to retorque the head bolts after it has run say 15-30 mintuines. Do it when its still hot/warm. I learned the hard way and will never do it after waitng for it to cool. Also set the valve warm you get a better setting that way
