Anyone have any experience with pulling the flywheel, on an old 15-30, with the multi disc clutch? The manual shows a picture of one being pulled with the engine removed. I'm wondering if there is room to pull it, with the engine still in the tractor. Any other problems associated with this?

I think you need to split the tractor. I can find out later this morning and let you know for sure. His shop won't open for another hour.

Our neighbor had a 15-30 he only used for belt work. He did custom threshing back in the 40's
and I always follow his machine since they always needed help. It was hot and dirty, but they fed you like a king too. Someone brought some beer on
the job and the 15-30 owner had a little too much beer and over fed the thresher and burnt the clutch out of the tractor. His brother was a mechanic and a machinist and he worked on the tractor to replace the clutch. His son has his own shop and I'll contact him. He probably helped his dad too. We went to school together and played sports together too. Hal
