Allen,
Hey buddy, haven"t chatted with you for awhile. Finally got moved/relocated to NE from Illinois two days before Christmas. Got a good start on unboxing right before the ice storm knocked our power out for 6 days. Welcome to NE! Oh well, could have been worse, as some folks were out alot longer than we were. Anyway, I"m always admiring your equipment on here, and I"m needing a tractor to do some blade/loader work around the acreage, and have some hay to make this spring. You don"t have your ear to the ground on a good 766 or 966 do ya? What"s your general opion of the 766? That"d be about the perfect size for me, but don"t see many around.
Thanks
DJL

Boy, I dunno ol' Bud,

Sure don't know of any right off hand.

The 766 is a heck of a tractor, but in my opinion, like all tractors that size they really need to be worked long and hard to keep 'em happy.

Go to the photo ads and look up item # 161851. That would make you a nice tractor for your purposes.

Allan

Allen,
Thanks for the quick response. I checked out that 656 looks like a nice tractor. For no more than the acerage, I could live with gas and narrow front....and that HYDRO sure would be nice. The catch is, I'm going to be baling about 80 acres of hay this year, and some road time to get there. Sure would like a diesel and a front end loader. I'm a little partial to the 66 series, and they sure clean/paint up SHARP!I'll keep looking for a 766, if you hear of one let me know.
Thanks DJL
