I checked the compression on my H and the readings ranged from 105 to 125. All plugs were out, the engine was cold, and it is still 6 volt.
I happen to remember that the throttle should be wide open and I re-checked and all readings were 150. I thought that the readings should be near 120 to be normal. As far as I know, the engine is stock. How could the readings be that high? I am not complaining. Thanks

My H that I bought from my Grandmother had 150 psi cranking pressure. It was overbore with fire craters, gasoline head.

Have you ever checked compression before on this tractor?

Do you know which head casting you have and what pistons are in it?

150 sounds reasonable for step head or firecrater pistons with a gasoline or LP head.

See link for tune-up specs...
