On the F-20/regular engines I have pulled, I removed the clutch cover and flywheel first, then pulled the whole assembly off the tractor. There are only four bolts that hold the engine on the frame rails, two up front on the engine mount, and two on the clutch housing. I really don't try to pull just the engine block by itself. Make sure you get the flywheel off before attempting to remove the bell housing from the engine block. You run the risk of destroying the rear seal retainer if they come apart separately. I have photos of how I did it. Email me and I will send them.

Thanks Bob I got it. The input shaft was welded to the clutch center with rat stuff. Thanks again

Those darn rats! I know what you mean, You should have seen inside the clutch housing on my 10-20, Mice and bees used it for homes for years. The thick heavy clutch cover was totally rusted out not to mention trying to get the clutch shaft off of what was left of the clutch disc splines, that took a sledge hammer and half a tank of acytelene. It was truly a mess and I wondered what I got myself into!

There might be a threaded stud somewhere hanging it up. Those are dowlels and are taken out by putting a nut on then and turning the nut, they come right out. There also might be a couple bolts on the inside of the flywheel that go to the block , but not sure on that, worth a check though. Look for 2 holes in the flywheel and turn it and see if a bolt head shows up.
