info on how to convert from 6 to 12 volt

The 135 engine will start just great if you have the 6v in working order so why dont you save some money and just get it correct.

If it has a distributor ignition, you will need to add a resistor. Also remove all your 6 volt light bulbs and put in 12 volt bulbs. Install a 12 volt generator and regulator, or have yours converted to 12 volts. You might be able to find more info on this in the YT Articles, there might be some helpful info there.

I chose to use my checkbook when I did mine. $907 included parts, labor and hauling; 12volt conversion and switch to electronic ignition. I'm not saying it is the right or wrong method but it worked for me. I later sold the genny, regulator, etc. and made back $85 or so.
