Brian: it sure sounds like a fuel problem. If you don't get it running let me know. Around here they call me the undertaker, I'll get rid of it for ya. LOL

Where are you Jim? I bought this tractor for the kids and it has been nothing but a pain for me. Engine was broken, so I pulled it apart and tried to fix it "right," and it has never run right since. I keep suggesting selling it, but the wife doesn't want it to go because it is cute. She keeps suggesting taking it somewhere to get it fixed, but I can't allow myself to do that, nor do I know where to take it where they will know more about it than I already do.

I have newer, much bigger diesel tractors that we use for work, so this is just a toy, and it's hard to get excited to turn wrenches on a toy (especially on a cold Sunday in the snow) when I have useful tractors that need upkeep and maintenance. Thanks Jim.

If you do decide to farm it out, try Village Power in Berlin, MA. That would be where I-290 and I-495 intersect.

There are always a couple of Cubs in their shop. In addition, they usually have a few more in their line-up in front of the store. They are perfectly happy to let the big box stores handle the Cub Cadets. This is an old time IH dealership that focuses on older but usually smaller IH product.

They have two 40' containers out back loaded with obsolete inventory purchased at auction. Everything is super cheap. My best purchase was a NOS TA for $150. They also have a large inventory of used Cub stuff in outside storage.
