While working on replacing axle seal I decided to adjust brakes. Thought they would be regular drum type brakes but they are disc type with three pads in center. Also looking at hydraulics I have two fittings on left side - one on right and one at bottom. My three point is hooked up to right and bottom, I have power up and down. I didn't expect to have this number of hydraulic fittings or disc brakes. Serial number is FBK 163xxx X1. Do I have a M with mixed and matched parts or just not the right shop manual.

Disc brakes were options on M's. they had discs similar to later tractors. Count how many splines is on the brake shaft. Can't remember for sure but guess the M's had twice as many as later ones. Also look at the center of the discs the M's had probably 1/2in wide sliding surface. If they had kept design brake shafts would last forever,If you look in front of the distributor you will see a live pump,Most of them were Webster Elect, pumps marketed by Mand W

Someone probably added the disc brakes, some after market brakes made by Lmpert were available to put on an M.
