I have found a man wanting to sell 5 farmall cubs and a truckload of attachments for $3500. None of the tractors will presently run. He says he drove 2 of them to where they are presently sitting. The other two have very minimal parts robbed from them. Maybe the starter on one and the distributor from the other. The fifth tractor is a donor with half a motor and several parts robbed. Sheet metal is pretty decent on all. There is bunches and bunches of cultivators, one or two moldboard plows, 3 mowers, push blade, several planters and fertilizer distributors, and lots more stuff laying around that goes with them. I looked through the weeds for 30 minutes and still dont think I found everything. They all have rear wheel weights and none have fronts. Tires and wheels are all there but the tires are all weather checked with most of them holding air. I would like to get 1 good tractor with all the implements to keep out of the bunch and sell the rest of the stuff after I get the other tractors running or see whats wrong with them. All have perfect fenders too. Should this be a good price for these tractors and equipment? Thanks for your comments. Brad

A restored cub can go for about 3500 dollars alone (and that's the cheap side). If you can get 3 or more running, and sell unrestored for
1500 or 2000 apiece, you are in the black. Then there are all the implements to sell that you don't need, plus the parts from any unit you don't get running. Not only is it a fair price, it's a steal in my opinion. How fast can you grab a trailer and the cash and get back there??!!

Is this in central NY by any chance? Sounds similar to a deal I tried to make last spring with a guy but gave up. Every time I agreed to his price, he raised it!

I'd say so. $3500 for all that sounds like a deal. Easy tractor to work on, and hobby and wanna be farmers want them. Make good vegetable tractors, okay mowing tractors, and are fun. With all that equipment, I would say get them running if possible, put them in working condition, restore the equipment, and sell them to a few hobby farmers. My opinion.
